Gasmet Technologies offers both portable and fixed monitoring systems for stack emissions monitoring.
Gasmet™ FTIR Gas Analyzers have a number of features that make them ideal for stack gas analysis. For example, all parts that are in contact with the sample gas are heated to 180°C, which ensures that water soluble compounds such as HCl, HF and NH3 can be measured reliably. The Gasmet™ CEMS has been tested by TÜV (17 BlmSchv) and MCERTS and thus it meets the demands of QAL 1 (EN 14181).
The most common application for Gasmet™ CEMS and Gasmet™ In-Situ is continuous emissions monitoring of waste incinerators and cement kilns. The capability to measure HCl and HF in addition to typical criteria pollutants (SO2, NOx, CO, CO2, N2O, O2 etc.) makes FTIR the best solution for these applications. In addition, there is no need to use a Flame Ionization Detector for TOC (Total Organic Carbon) – measurement. The hydrocarbons can be measured individually and then added together in the software to form a TOC – number.
Gasmet Technologies can also offer an innovative solution for monitoring of total mercury (Hg). The Gasmet™ CMM (Continuous Mercury Monitor) can be used for example in continuous emissions monitoring in coal fired power plants.
Portable Gasmet™ DX4000 FTIR gas analyzer is a useful tool for consultants who are performing stack testing services for comparison measurement of emissions. Measurement results are available on real-time and stored in ASCII form for easy processing. One analyzer can be used in multiple locations and for measurement of hundreds of different gaseous compounds. Gasmet DX4000 has also MCERTS certification.
